When you brew coffee with a stainless steel filter, you can taste the coffee oils more clearly than when you use a paper filter. This stainless steel filter has a coarser mesh than a regular paper filter, so we recommend using medium to slightly coarsely ground coffee beans. This will reduce the amount of fine powder and bring out the oily taste of the coffee!
